The Finnish Pharmaceutical Society

The Finnish Pharmaceutical Society is a scientific society founded in 1887, with coverage of the whole country. The aim of the society is to promote the pharmaceutical sciences, pharmaceutical research and the applications of these in Finland. The society allocates also grants and awards for individual researchers.

Nominations for the Albert Wuokko Award for the Best Doctoral Thesis 2021-2024 in Pharmaceutics

The Finnish Pharmaceutical Society is delighted to announce the call for nominations for the prestigious Albert Wuokko Award for the best doctoral thesis. This biennial award, valued at 4000 euros, is the highest recognition in the pharmaceutical field in Finland and provides a fantastic opportunity for newly graduated PhDs to gain recognition and honor for their outstanding contributions to pharmaceutical sciences.

EUFEPS annual meeting 2024 was organized in Hungary on 23-25.5 and a PhD student competition was organized as a part of the conference. The Finnish Pharmaceutical Society nominated one of its grantees to participate in the competition.
