The Finnish Pharmaceutical Society is a scientific society founded in 1887, with coverage of the whole country. The aim of the society is to promote the pharmaceutical sciences, pharmaceutical research and the applications of these in Finland. The society allocates also grants and awards for individual researchers.

The 15th PBP World Meeting, taking place from 23 to 26 March 2026, will be held in Prague, Czech Republic. The Finnish Pharmaceutical Society is supporting the organizers as a participating society and the members of the society are eligible for the member price of the registration. The FinPharmSci 2025, the main networking event of the year, is organized on 6th of November, 2025. The society is also excited to launch a new pitching competition for PhD students as part of FinPharmSci 2025 event! The event is open to everyone working in the pharmaceutical sector in Finland — from early-career professionals to experienced researchers, educators, and industry experts across academia, healthcare, and regulatory fields.

The Finnish Pharmaceutical Society is pleased to announce the call for nominations for the “Most Outstanding Pharmaceutical Research Article” award. This award provides an opportunity for researchers to be recognized and honored for their valuable contributions to pharmaceutical sciences. The award is 500€, and the winner will be announced at the FinPharmSci 2025 event in November. Please send your nomination to arto.merivaara@uef.fi by September 26, 2025.
