The Finnish Pharmaceutical Society is pleased to announce the opening of the call for applications for travel grants and grants for organizing scientific meetings or conferences.
The application time for the grants is 1.1.-31.1.2026. Grants can be applied for (1) personal participation in scientific meetings and events, and (2) organizing a scientific meeting or conference. The travel grants (1) are primarily intended to support doctoral candidates conducting PhD studies. The grant must be used in 2026, and a poster or oral presentation is required to receive the grant. Grants are not awarded for past events or for research visits.
Grant decisions are made by the board of the Finnish Pharmaceutical Society and recipients will be notified at the beginning of March. A dedicated part of the grants will be awarded for participation in the EUFEPS annual meeting: ”Joint EUFEPS - SITELF Meeting, Naples 2026: "Advances in Pharmaceutical Sciences” (Naples, 27.-29.5.2026).
The grants can be applied for during 1.1.-31.1.2026 through an application form found on the webpage of the society.
Grant recipients are expected to provide a written clarification on the use of the grant within three months of its use. The application call for research grants for conducting scientific PhD studies (PhD scholarships) will be launched in May 2026.
